Price Check Used Ford 9N Price Check

I don't know much about older tractotrs, so I wanted to find out the gues-stimated pricing on a 9N. I am unsure of hours or year.
Well used condition but operable. Has turfs and Ag tires as well as a FEL. I think the trans was on the left hand side of the steering and a shutle shift (I think).

I know very little about them but, I'm pretty sure the 9N only has a 3 speed with reverse and are from the late 30's to early 40's vintage. Are you sure this isn't a much newer tractor?

You may be on to something as I assumed it was a 9N as the serial # stamped starts with 9N, I think. The tractor had a 4 sale sign on it and I looked over it yesterday evening on the way home from work. The vintage looks more like 30 years old, not 70 years old! Thanks for your insight though!

Can you take some pictures? Maybe take down the serial number. There are some Ford guy's here that I'm sure can tell you about that tractor.

9n 1939-1941
2n 1942-1947

both have sn that start with 9n.. both have a 3spd (+r) tranny, behind the steering column.. there was a sherman shuttle reverser available for forklift application.. or various other sherman pre trannies ( as well as other manufacturers.. like hupp.. etc. )

199cu 4 cyl gas engine.. somewhere between 23-27 hp depending on head, and what numbers you believe.

draft hyds.

good operable units that aren't rusted bad go in the 2000 range. poor lookers and runners inthe 1000 range.. ran when parked / junkers in the 500-750 range.. burned units inthe 300 range.

Minty restored units 'like new' inthe 3000 range.

( here in florida anyway. ).

take some pics.. ask questions. I've got the manuals here, and 6 fords from 1946 - 2002 parked in the barn.
