I see where some little snowflake (age 18) is suing Juul, the leading vaping company because he believes his lungs are destroyed. Wow. He claims, and actually admits he bought nicotine liquid when he was underage. Probably ought to prosecute him for that, since he admitted it and all. .. So he wants into the the pocket of "big vape". Yeah we will see how far that gets him. He said the problems began when he started filling his vape pen with THC (active ingredient in MJ) oils. Yeah that he got off of a drug dealer on the street. Good luck with that. In my opinion what a maroon (bugs bunny speak for moron). He related that "everyone else was doing it" as his reason for starting vaping.

Personally I think we need more hoopleheads like him in the world. The predators need prey after all.
If he wants to sue someone, how about suing his parents for not knocking some sense into his empty head. Or maybe since he is now an adult, (ain't that a laugh) he can sue himself. Yeah, 18 year olds are "adults". They can vote and everything. They just can't think. At least a lot of them. Color me among the unsympathetic. Anyone young or old that knowingly and willingly draws anything into their lungs but clean air is a hooplehead. And if that offends any smokers in this crowd, it was meant to. Sue indeed.

So if this kid was 40, and NOT using THC oils, and STILL had his lungs destroyed, would it be ok if HE sued Juul?

Anyone stupid enough to give those predators their money and their health deserves what they get. I would be the last person on earth to say they can't do what they please. I am also the last person on earth to say the predators can't hunt for their victims. The kid was 18.. We now call that an adult (for some unknown reason). "everyone else was doing it, and I thought it would raise my social standing". Yeah, now that is a right smart.

Even if you "vape' just some flavor juice without ANY nicotine, and NO THC, you are still sucking in Propylene Glycol. Yes the liquid uses anti-freeze as the base. RV antifreeze. "Oh, let's break down that chemical with some heat and suck that into our precious lungs". Yep that seems like a really good idea.

Just look at the lawsuits the tobacco companies have been dealing with. For years, they denied that their products were harmful. They promoted their stuff as the cool thing to do back in the 50s-60s. Even Fred Flintstone pushed product for them. You think that wasn't aimed at kids?

If we haven't learned by now that sucking smoke/vapors into our delicate lungs is harmful then it is too late for some of us. Yet even today, millions of people smoke cigarettes and millions more "vape". And if you asked them why, they couldn't even give you a good answer.

One of the best lines in a TV show was an episode from Deep space 9 where Quark, an alien and some of his family and friends came to earth in 1947, and notice many "huumons" smoking cigarettes. When this was explained to him, he the ever greedy opportunist replied with a big grin: "if they will buy poison and use it, they will buy anything".

Yep, we as a species will buy poison and put it into our bodies even though we know it is killing us and are glad to do it. And will fight to the death if need be to keep doing it.

first, it's only the non-nicotine e-liquids that contain liquid vitamin e, which is the cause of the problems. secondly, smoking only affects a small percentage of people that are programmed by their DNA to be affected by it. George Burns smoked for 92 years, from when he was 8 years old, to the age of 100, at which time he died of natural causes, NOT smoking related. there are many others that lived to 140 years old..
