Tractor
John Deere, 3720
I just found this site a few weeks ago and found it very helpful. I've been looking for a new tractor for over a year. My current John Deere 750 has been great with absolutely no problems. However, after driving one of the new 3320's with hydrostat and 4 wheel drive I knew I had to have one.

I was originally looking at a 3320, with 72" mid mount mower, 300cx loader and 665 tiller. After much debate, I finally decided on a 3720 with the attachments listed. I think I did ok on price... I was able to purchase everything for $27500 before taxes.

I ordered it over a week and half ago and expect delivery in another week or two. Once I receive it I will be looking for a good seeder and box blade. Let me know if you have any recommendations. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

A buddy of mine loaned me a John Deere 4x4 hydrostat drive for the weekend. It's a big backhoe, front end loader combo, just what I needed for digging stumps and moving dirt. I think I'm in love.

Have fun with yours. I've got the loaner for just two more days.

Congratulations, Vibeman, and welcome to TBN. It's always good to have more seasoned tractor owners in the mix.

Welcome to TBN, Deere family, and the 3X20 club. You are going to love it.

I have been looking aalso at BBs to buy next summer. I like the 2172 so far but have also been reading about others.

I will be interested in you 665 tiller feedback as well.

Sounds very cheap. What dealer did you use? Surely without a cab, but is that the 7 iron mmm?

I shopped around for sometime to come up with the particular tractor and buying price. Botton line, I was fortunate enough to have a local dealer who wants my business.

The deck is a 72" 7 iron mmm. You are correct that the tractor does not come with a cab.

I was told today that the tractor should be in next week... I can hardly wait. It's going to be just like Christmas, only earilier. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Vibeman - make sure the dealer puts your FEl hood guard on when they install the mounting plates for the MMM. My dealer tried to say that the guard would not work with the 7-iron MMM - he was wrong and in fact it is installed in JD's 3320 DVD video as well. I had him deliver my guard and I installed it myself - it does in fact work just fine with the MMM plates. Just trying to save you an install later. Great price - you pretty much stole the tractor. The 7-iron MMMs are very nice! I figure you got 9-10K in attachments which puts your tractor in the shed for 17K - awesome! Plus 3rd valve will be installed for the MMM wich will be nice.
