Well, you got me there, I can't say as that I have EVER seen what was suppose to be an up graded implement with fewer features. I guess they figured that they didn't want to spend the additional money to have all the required features and have it stronger.

My bad and sorry that I made the recommendation. :sorry: That rake will no longer be one that I recommend. :( So with this new info, only the Land Pride LR3784 would meet your requirements in my estimation and it is simply stupid expensive.

Again, sorry for the misdirection. :ashamed:

We offer offset on the Compact Rake so smaller tractors don't have to go large. If needed, they can offset a smaller rake to reach out beyond the tires.
People generally put our Category 1-2 rake on larger tractors that are not limited in pulling/lifting capacity.

I think you will be a fan of our newest rake based on past recommendations. This one will not be cheap, but definitely not stupid expensive!
It will share the same hitch/tube assembly with a new hydraulic blade.

No apology needed. The lack of offset functionality is probably not a showstopper for most folks and in all other aspects it appears to be an excellent rake for the price.

I purchased the Land Pride LR3796 and yes it is expensive but quality control was terrible.

Well that is disappointing. Not that I was going to buy one but still.

Yes it is. And the EA holes in my equipment are always nicely formed.

I notice it also has the landing gear/parking support rod. I ended up having to remove mine as the EA rake is my only implement with one, with the others supported by a piece of lumber when off the tractor. I just can't get used to using the landing gear rod, end up forgetting about it and leave it down. And we all can guess when happens then... So I just took my bent one off. A great idea I was going to apply to everything else I own, but since decided a 4 x 4 works better for me as it just drops to the ground when I lift the implement and nothing to remember to move :ashamed:. My fault and certainly not the equipment's.

I purchased the Land Pride LR3796 and yes it is expensive but quality control was terrible. The Clevis hookup for the Cat 2 pins was the absolute minimum and I had to spend a couple hours grinding on my QH and the rake to make it fit. Also the stand came in bent and I have to tie it up with a wire, the pin doesn't fit when the leg is in the up position. Overall it was rusty and the holes for adjustments were very rough making the adjustments very difficult.

The rake operates fine and is heavy duty but I will never purchase any Land Pride equipment in the future, quality control was horrendous.

That sucks, but I don't believe it to be the norm. My PD35 PHD and all the augers that I got as well as my RBT45108 rear blade are all top notch. Pretty much all the units that I have ever seen at the AG shows are all pretty good, although you would think that would be the case for a show. Not so for several other manufacturers though.

Just my experiences. ;)

Travis, this looks EXCELLENT. Please let us know when these are out as I am sure that you will. Huge improvement. This unit looks to exceed even Land Prides by quite a bit.:thumbsup:

We can, and have built our Severe Xtreme Cat 1&2 Landscape Rake with offset. It adds $350 to the cost.

The hitch will be like this:

It will also have the elongated top link hole for floating:

Well I placed my order for the Severe EXtreme rake today. Now I just have to be patient and wait for it to ship and get here. Thanks to Rick and Travis at Everything Attachments as well as all the forum folks who chimed in with comments and advice.

Patience is not one of my virtues.

Why isn't it here yet?
