Congrats on your new tractor! It's a purty thang
I have a
L3400 HST '09 year. Mine's just my toy, and never used for just 'work'. Boys and their toys, you know. I had to quite riding my Harley, so the Kubota is the replacement.
Service manual and parts catalog to me are essential. I buy the factor manuals with any and all new equipment, i.e. trucks, cars, bikes, you-name-it. Not that I plan on fixing it, but it's valuable information in determining problems or questions. One important thing about them is that you need to buy them asap - later they may or may not be available, and you'll wish you had them. Plus - if you ever sell your tractor, having the manuals to go with it (if you like) is a great selling feature. Sure - they're pricey, but worth having for sure.
I on the other hand, never let go of my manuals. I have auto manuals dating back to 1949 and wouldn't sell them for anything. I guess I'm just a dust collector, but if I ever want to go back and check on something - I got 'em.
