What Are A Set Of Used B7500 Turfs Worth?

I appreciate all the feedback I received on my post regarding getting rid of my B7500. I researched the possibility of resolving the 10% issues I have with the B7500, because quite frankly, I love at least 90% of the tractor! So, that brought me to the first item....looking for a new set of boots for her. Well, it turned out that because of the gearing in the drive train, the dealer said that I can't just put new boots on the front without messing up the gear ratio in the driveline and possibly wearing out the gears. I can't find tires that match the factory ones perfectly (diameter), so that pushes me to buying a new set of front and rear tires with rims that are matched, IF I want to go with bar turfs instead of the standard turfs. Well, as you can imagine, the bar turfs and rims aren't cheap. Does anyone have an idea what I can expect to get out of a set of used turfs with rims - excellent shape, no wear, no rust or dents on rims (like new) to offset the cost of the new set of tires and rims? New, they sell for about $900. Thanks.

A new set of turfs in my area is $800. I, like you, my front tires (R4's) are ripping up the grass when turning. This weekend I'm going to take off the FEL lower the tire psi and see what happens.

I have turfs now - the standard turfs. I want to go to a "bar turf" tires that have the front tires that are rounded on the edges - more balloon like. Right now my standard turfs slice circles around the trees. I think they would still be better than your R4's, though.

Now, with that said and myself be a collector of the useless, just UPS them to me, and being a decent, kind hearted human I'll pay for all the UPS cost.

Think of how much room I'm freeing up for you, and there's no need to thank me, I'm just doing my hillbilly duty.

I believe that lowering the tire pressure will exasperate the problem, not help resolve it. Hard tires have less rolling friction than soft tires.

I doubt lowering the pressure will help very much. The R4 tires are so stiff anyways. I tried that but slowly have over time increased my pressure back to max and I see no difference in wear on my lawn. I do wish sometimes I had turfs. J

I doubt it. I think the diameter of the rears would not fit under your fenders, but you can research it and let me know.
