A hardware question: What do you call these (silver in picture) pins/ bolts/ fasteners that are like a bolt (have a thread and nut or bolt at one end); but the opposite clamping end has a perpendicular hole drilled through it to insert and hold some other rod?

And where can I get some?

I realize I’m going to need a length, diameter, and “hole diameter” measurement, but someone must sell them?

I think they are called adjusting clamp bolts. Dont know where to source.

A search for rod clamps turns up lots of variations.

I haven’t found anything that looks close. The rods being clamped are 5/16” o.d.

The fastener is mounted through a 1/4” hole in the (black plastic, “hollow”) mount where a nut is applied to fasten it to the mount.

I noticed my top picture looks like the fastener uses a nut on one end, whereas the bottom picture seems to use a bolt that goes through the mount into the clamp.

Seems like there’s various styles. I’m just trying to find one.

Not much help, but maybe the picture is useful.

Would something like this work for you?

They are not cheap, but then I'm not sure what your application is:

Are you trying to duplicate exactly what you have shown in your picture?

No, I was just looking for a “bolt” with a hole through it (eye-bolts) . Seems like it should be easy, right? Oh no, not for me! Lol

I have rods and mounts like in the original pictures, I’m just missing the “eye-bolts” thanks to the washboard dirt roads in the hills of Benson Vt.

The two bolts circled in picture below are exactly what I need. I finally found the whole kit by searching: 8mm eyebolts bike rack…which, believe it or not, was an very long evolution of Lou’s pipe clamp suggestion. Lol.
