CK30 HST
I purchased my ck30 hst last year . Since then I have moved about 125 miles from the place I purchased. About 6 months ago I needed some dealer work done, they said they would pick up my tractor do the repair and return it to me free of charge. After talking to them I decided to take it to a local dealer so I could get to know them, who did the repair and returned it to me , he charged me $60 for transport. Last week I called the local dealer and found out he when out of business. I then called the dealer from whom I purchased the tractor from he came by and loaded my ck30, he didnt say anything about transport cost, roundtrip being 250 miles. What do you think?

Canonize the dealer (or adopt him) :D and pray he doesn't send you a transport bill

I think that's the kind of dealer that you want to send your business to in the future.

Just to clarify, your local dealer did not go out of business. He simply closed a satellite store that was in a bad location. The main location is in Chico which is still very much in business. We are currently looking for a better location to better serve any kioti owners nearer to the Grass Valley area which has a large amount of Kioti owners. We can still serve any needs you may have at a discounted transport rate because you are near the Highway 20 area. True, we do need to charge for transport because Kioti does not pay us for that time or the fuel used for the transport and it would not be a smart thing to do to not charge transport. You have to think, 1 hour of time to bring the tractor to the shop and then another to take it back for 60 dollars is cheap. I hope this clears a lot of misunderstandings.

Sounds like two good dealers. $60 bucks is cheap. My dealer charged me $50 for a 20 mile roundtrip - has also not charged me. I want to be fair and he's been more than fair with me. BTW, I did not buy my tractor from this dealer.

Got my ck30 back, repaired and at no cost. When I wrote "wHAT DO YOU THINK" I was trying to get a feel from the members of this site on how much I should expect to pay for transportion, and what they have paid;thats it. I did complain about the $60 or the service. I was told that your shop was closing when I called and that I would have to wait about two weeks before it could go to your shop in Chico. If you read my posting you will see that I prefer a local dealer. What you might want to do when you open another satellite shop is notify your customers of your new location. I hope this clears a lot of misunderstandings.
