Sounds dumb I know but I'm fixing to try to get my John deere 950 injection pump timed but the timing directions kinda got me confused. What is a drop catch or tool jdf-14 I couldnt find this tool anywhere. Thanks for any help and sorry if this is a dumb question.

It’s just a piece of fuel line so you can monitor when fuel flows. Are you reinstalling the same pump you removed. If so you can reinstall with the same shims and it will likely be just fine.
