This is the trailer the dealer delivered my tractor on. What type of trailer do you haul your tractor with? I am using my mowing trailer at the moment but, when mowing season comes I don't want to have to unload all my mowers each time I need to use the tractor. I was thinking of buying a trailer like the one in the picture. Please enclose a picture if you can of your trailer to give me some ideas. Thanks.

This trailer (in pic) has dual axle and looks to be "Heavy Duty" and this is what you want. Now depending on what you have for a tow vehicle? Can you pull this? AND HAVE BRAKING TO CONTROL IT. Too many people try to skimp on the trailer, well with ???? $$$,s in a tractor and equip. dont' cheat on the trailer. If you lose the trailer, you lose your tractor and accessories.

I've been giving this a lot of thought lately. I'd love to have this trailer to move my 4010 with. I have a Ford Explorer and use my Dad's 18' car hauler right now. It is 77" or so wide and sticks out way past the sides of the Explorer. It is too much trailer for my little tractor, but it is free. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'd like to have the 14' 45LA due to its 60" deck. My FEL bucket is 53", and when I get a shredder/finish mower it will not be bigger than 5', so the width should be fine.

I concur with the other posters about the tow vehicle. My Explorer has a tow rating of 3500 lbs, but I only pull the tractor about 4 miles along a low traffic county road. If I was going to be on the interstate I'd use my Dad's F150. It is a much better tow vehicle.

I agree with jw5875, don't skimp on the trailer. Think of any other future uses you may have for a trailer. Hauling dirt, a vehicle, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles etc. Pics of mine are in members photos / other / mahindra. I bought a 20' tilt bed to haul my tractor w/ implements, 4 wheelers, my buddies pickup that recently broke down etc. This spring I'll build sides for it that will fit in the side pockets to haul some topsoil and stone for the driveway. Trailers can have many uses.
Just my 2 cents.
George

I have a 2500 HD Chevy Duramax Diesel crewcab to pull with, I think it will do the job just fine. I have several heavy duty trailers all of which are dual axles and have brakes. I just don't have one long enough to carry the tractor with attatchments, that's why I was asking.

Iowachild, I have a similar trailer I use in my business and you are right it will haul about anything you can put in it.

I have a 20 ft Anderson equipment trailer. It is perfect for my needs. I have a New Holland TC-35D with 16LA FEL. It doesn't matter if I have the backhoe attached, or the bush hog everything fits on the trailer. It also leaves room to move the tractor backwards or forwards to adjust the tounge weight.

http://www.trailersforless.com/and_dump_EQ7185T_trailers.html

I went with the 20 ft lenght, and the options for the 7,000 lb axles. Also brakes on both axles and load range "E" tires.

I tow with a F-250 4x4 with no problems.

On edit: I have no fiancial connection with "Trailers for Less" I have bought 4 trailers from them and they have excellent service.

I have had several trailers but my tilt bed is my hands down favorite. It cost a few more bucks but is safer than ramps and quick to load. I got a 20' 10,000GVW from H&H.
See picture.
