What kind of transmission do I have?

Hi,

I have an International 260A Loader, it is apparently a 1979'ish model.

I'm new to tractors, so this may be a dumb question, but how do I tell if I have the model with a hydrostatic transmission,or the torque converter; there is a service manual available for both... but I don't know what I got!

It's definitely not manual. I have a lever with High, Low, Neutral. And two pedals, forward and reverse. Don't know if that helps...

Sounds like hydro to me. Speed ranges and a forward/reverse pedal.

That is the hydro, in tractor land the same as used in the IH ag tractor 84model.
