Recent quotes here in NC - very close #s from 2 local dealers:

Industrial tires, HST, SSQA bucket with current Kub promotions & 0% finance is $20,5/$22,3/$26,3 for L3301/3901/4701.

Ok thanks, I'm not opposed to traveling if it will save me some $, I drove 10hrs for my last tractor but that was used and a good deal

Then drive another state, buy and take delivery in your state. Avoiding sales tax will be more savings than one dealer to the next.

I'm in the Catskills region. I bought an L3901 w/hoe, in December 2017, for about $28k. Bought in PA so sales tax was a bit less.

FWIW, PA dealers charge PA tax rates. It's up to you to pay any difference to NY state. I happen to be closer to a PA dealer than to a NY dealer. I'd pick a good dealer and service over the tax differential.

Why not configure the desired configuration on Kubota's web site? You'll be able to see the list prices first hand for each option and you'll be better qualified to judge if your getting a good deal or not. People quote various discounts from list that seem to range between 5-15%. Of course market conditions will prevail.

Hopefully this link will take you directly to "Build your Kubota": Kubota Tractor Corporation - Build My Kubota

Good luck with the shopping and hopeful you'll find a great deal out there.

Buying in one state and taking delivery in another that the dealer doesn’t have a location would result in paying ZERO sales tax.

Not in NY. The bordering states charge their tax rate even if you don't live there. I've been thru this a few times in NY/NJ/PA.
