What tractor do you think is the quietest ever?

My wife is noise sensitive and our diesel 3 cylinder is too loud for her. My brother has an old Allis 170 gas that is a lot quieter. What tractor do you know of that made you amazed of how quiet it was? Just lookin and reflecting…

Tractors with Common Rail injection may be a little bit quieter than the ones with mechanical injection.

Other than that, maybe electric?

It would be for sure…guess she doesn’t like walking around with them on.

I agree on the electric ones but I think we are a few years away from that. She really likes our Automower 450X. It’s awesome.

Just seems to me some of the older gas tractors were quiet - many weren’t but some were quieter than diesel.

I had a 87 Mercedes 300D and added a pint of ATF to the full tank and you wouldn't know it was a diesel it was so quiet.

I’m operating it, she is in the house…I’m good with noise, she is not.
