40 years as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, Then met my current wife who is a Realty Broker and CAM management. Now I do Building Maintenance and repair for (mostly for her). So I guess you can say I work for my wife 24/7. :confused3: We are 2 separate companies, and it is sad, but I have to maintain my Commercial General Contractor license to be a handyman. :duh:

Did 8 years in the Navy -working on GSE "Ground Support Equipment". Moved back home and worked a few year's in the Commercial Restaurant repair industry - fixed/repaired everything from walk in coolers to every cooking device in the kitchen. 'Lots of certificates' but 'no degree' here. Realized that being on call and attached to a beeper was not for me. Left and started working for the Post Office in one of their industrial plants. Everything was automated, they sent me to school and taught me how to troubleshoot PLC's and some of the older control panels. Voltage changed too from typical 220 to 480.... Learned that an Industrial setting is a whole different animal than Commercial repair work. Finally left that for a management job within the same organization and work at a local Post Office.

I miss fixing equipment - People are harder to deal with than machinery.....

I worked for a major commercial truck manufacture for 14 years, left there when the economy went south to go into law enforcement. I currently work full time as a locomotive engineer and part time in law enforcement.

I farm full time. Raise broiler chickens and beef cattle.

Started out in a Spray Coupe right out of high school. Then changed companies and spent time doing agricultural Research. During the economic crisis in 09 I had the opportunity to buy my farm and move to farming full time.
