Whats new in your snow arsenal

After unsuccessfully searching for a couple years for a reasonably priced used 3pt blower, I finally broke down and purchased a new Buhler Allied 60" 3pt unit. Also purchased a new Ariens 27" tracked blower. Spending days digging out and moving massive amounts of snow with my 6' FEL mounted plow, 60" FEL bucket, and hand shoveling during our 2-3' storms over the last 5 years has gotten old. I end up with huge piles of snow around the property during those big storms, and some of the big storms take 2 days worth of digging & moving.

Last year, we had a pretty heavy snow season.

Since I purchased the new blowers for this season, I expect we won't have much snow at all, and probably none of the multiple big storms that we typically have each winter/spring.

I wouldn't count on it. Weak El nino is forming. That's going to make it snow out your way. Less our way.

Actually, the long range predictions are colder then normal temperatures and more precipitation then normal for the east coast...up to PA or southern NYS.
Reckon we'll see soon enough, but my chains will be going on in a few weeks. I figure I have one more mowing session before the RFM gets stowed and those chains get installed.

I have a grain shovel, push broom, and a Stihl Kombi system with a brush attachment. I used the push broom once last year to clear a light dusting of snow.

I've used my tractor once in 16 years to clear snow...but, I live in Albuquerque, NM....so most of the time I just wait for the sun to come out.

Central MN here. 5' atv blade for Yamaha Wolverine to push. Fel with 6' bucket and 6' woods blower for the back of my tractor. I picked up the blower a couple years ago in near new condition at a July estate auction for $650. It was over $2k new (it came with original receipt). I was just trying to keep every one honest on the blower. No one wanted it. My first winter I got my money's worth. It is nice to have when needed.
