I can identify with your circumstance in regard to the availability of 15 inch tires. Around two weeks ago I upgraded one of my farm trailers, going from 14 inch to 15 inch tires. The largest tire store in our NC county of less than 23,000.didn't have any used 15 inch or rims. I have been doing business with them for 11 years. The owner sent me to a salvage yard 40 miles away. I stopped and checked at a small junkyard on the way there hoping to save me a few miles. No success. The recommended salvage yard had no used 15 inch tires, and mine you, this was a huge place. Two used 15 inch rims ended up costing me 70 dollars. I wet back to my buddy's garage and he had two new 15 inch tires that a customer had ordered and later changed their mind. My buddy sold these two 15 inch tires to me at his cost. In conclusion my upgrade costs were-- two used rims=$70.00 plus two tires= $105.00. Total=$175.00. Two years ago, this would have cost around 60 to 85 dollars. Talk about inflation and sticker shock. Happy tractoring.:tractor::tractor:
