Greetings everyone!

I just traded my L3130HST for an L5030HST and 853 FEL. I didn't know it was an option on the 3130 but I had a round bucket. My 5030 came with a 72" square bucket (not the light-material version). Is there an advantage in getting the 72" "round HD" bucket? 'Square' isn't really square but it isn't curved either.

Thanks in advance!

Have the 72 inch rounded bucket Believe that the only advantage of rounded is that when digging dirt it will not stick and remain to some degree in the bucket

I was told by a dealer that the round back bucket will allow dirt to slide and roll over better in the back of the bucket when doing dirt work compared to a square bucket. Seems to be some logic to that statement but who knows?

Welcome to TBN... A great place to get your questions answered.

I have similar equipment to what you bought.... including the HD bucket. I think it is great... heavy bar on top easily takes chain hooks welded on.

I strongly recommend getting a toothbar...... can't tell you how handy it is... enlarges the carrying capacity significantly... both for rock and odd sized stuff.

PM me with your email address and I'll send you a list of modifications I've made to my 5030 and attachments... some might be useful to you.
