I have painted many Massey tractors with the flint metallic grey paint from Massey Ferguson. While probably not of the same quality as automotive paint, it is a durable paint and is still available from Massey dealers (part number 830719M2). I believe it is only available in quarts for about $25.00. My experience is with the old type of paint from the 70's and 80's and it was a very easy paint to work with. It covered very well with only two coats and I have painted several tractors using only one quart per tractor (obviously using reducer to thin the paint for spraying) if the original paint is still fairly good. You would need to check with the dealer as to what is recommended for a reducer, but the paints of today should work as well if not better.
