- Kioti LK3054xs TLB, 2004
For the past two years I've given hay rides at our town's fall festival. Last year I used my old tractor, the "other" orange. This year I used my LK3054XS. As some may remember my Kioti Hauler (Chevy K2500) ran into some difficulties, I fixed and then sold. I tried to load my Kioti onto my 14 foot single axle trailer so I could pull it with my 4 banger Ranger to the event. Needless to say that was an act in futility. Didn't even try to hook up the ranger to the 9 ton tri-axle. Soooo, I hooked up my trialer to the Kioti and drove it the 11 miles to the park (that was no fun). I then gave rides for 2.5 hours and then drove the hour home (that was kinda fun because I pulled in the gas station to gas up, no gas can).
Not sure if you can notice, but my daughter is helping me give the rides (her and the boss met me there) and I've got my super bright Wallace Tractor shirt on, and Kioti hat, and when it got cold, my Kioti sweatshirt.
Kids love hay rides.
Fun day had by all.
Next year we need to figure out a way to have a tractor or two and a banner on display, great way to have a couple hundred people take a look at a new machine, ask questions and get business cards. If Verizon can have a booth why not Kioti??
