ovrszd--I checked the rolling circumference on both of those tires a while back and it was the same. That would mean the tire height of both of them has to be the same. And, in photos of the Kubota factory tire and wheel, the tire sure looks wider than the 11.2x24 OEM that was on there to begin with. This is where I struggle because something is not right.

Am I making any sense? Wait; don't ask my wife.

I usually rely on the RCI chart. There may be some variance but evidently not enough to matter in regards to Kubota.

The metric tires are most certainly wider than the standard 11.2 tire.

I replaced my 12.4 tires with 320/85 and gained 1.5" width, actual measurement. Wish I had went with 70 series and gained another 1.5".

Tire manufacturers are now making the wider metric sized tires that fit on the narrower standard rims. In my case the 360/70 and 320/85 both called for the same width rim.

I wish they would make a a bias ply 24" tire that would fit the OEM wheel on my M7040 and be the OEM diameter. Even a radial would be OK. That way, I could keep the adjustable OEM wheel and get most of the benefits of the radial on the M7040 11" wheel. Tire shops will tell you that you can use tires destined for a one inch smaller or one inch larger wheel width than called for.

360's are standard in Canada :)

Yep. Most of the World has been using metric R1W tires for several years. Us Yanks are wayyyyy behind. Have no idea why????

Are the tires on US market tractors US made? I know Kubota ships skid units no tires/wheels and those get added at dealer. Perhaps they use Domestic source? My OEM R1W tires are made overseas

My M9540 came with Titan standard sized tires, made in USA.

My R1W replacements on the front are BKT made overseas.

I think more manufacturers of tires are getting on the bandwagon regarding metric sizes.

I spoke with my dealer today and he has given me a very good wholegood price for a set of the 320/85 tires and rims. Looking forward to finally getting some wider front tires.

The pic of the three Kubotas. That's what I'm talking about. Why the Heck don't ours come equipped like that?? What exactly would be the reason they don't???
