On Wednesday January 13th we got hit with 70+Mph winds, downing trees and destroying vehicles and houses on our homestead., thankfully my grapple came in on the 14th. I put 12h so far just moving logs and slash piles.

Yup, believe it or not. It was drivable away from it's location afterwards.

Not to make light of the situation but built Ford tough. Sorry, as a Ford man I couldn’t resist.

Grapples sure make short work of storm cleanup. Been there done that and hope I do not have to do it again for a long time.

Too bad about the truck, looked like it was in good shape for it's age.

So what grapple did you go with. I need to get one ordered up for spring time.

Unfortunate about the wind storm. Good you had your grapple. Tough situation as a first learning experience. Hopefully, nobody in your truck when the big tree fell on it.

Last year we had a bad ice storm then a wind storm that wrecked havoc with my tall evergreens. I agree a grapple is a great help for storm cleanup.
