Any WIRING DIAGRAMS available that show colors and/or code #'s ?
I do have the diagram from manual
I thought I had wiring issues solved, but I think I went backwards
Hooked up 12v direct wire & did get lights on & have signals working, (Red Tail Lights)
Went to install new switches when problems began
Not sure if old switches were wired right & I found solid green wire under dash not hooked up

Terminal +/-
Does the switch (JK107A) pictured have a terminal ground ?
Lights work when switch touching tractor metal, when installed in dash no lights

It shouldn't be that way, in my experience. The switch should only be interrupting the hot lead and have nothing to do with the negative side of things. Somewhere the case of th switch is carrying the ground, but it shouldn't. That said, yo could use it by adding a large enough ring terminal to slip over the threaded shaft and wire it to ground. I wouldn't do that, though - I'd find out why my lights weren't getting a ground all the time and hot only when the switch is switched to on. I've seen AC wiring where the installer mistakenly switched the neutral/ground leg instead of the hot leg and it makes for real interesting work trying to trouble shoot it later. Better to do things right from the beginning.

Thanks Rich,
The switch had a ground wire attached, prior shadetree mechanic had spliced a wire to a ground wire
I am going to backtrack to all connectors & guages for a good cleaning & connection rehab
One thing, the guages all have a unconnected wire, looks like it's a soldered wire to the guage housing,
I figured this is a ground, but all the guages work fine, there is also a socket for bulb? But all empty

Not surprised htat the gauges have a ground on the shells - that's very common. Some gauges use the ground on the shell and others are isolated above ground (ammeter, for instance) and others use a ground terminal. Nor am I surprised that the illumination bulbs are missing - they may never have been installed or they may all have died one by one and been tossed. Those bulbs are one reason for the ground wire on the shell, by the way. The bulb socket will have the shell connected to the meter case and a single wire forpower. You can hook them all together and supply them with power from the key switch "on" position terminal.

My tractor was missing all the gauge lights also. I ordered gauge lights and sockets from Summit Racing. Very reasonably priced.

Although l have not removed gauges, they look to be intact with bulb sockets.
The tach is wired complete but no bulb
I do not foresee any night operation, but satisfaction of lighted gauges is desired
I do have headlights, rear lights & worklight now
