This tractor is up for auction and I am trying to figure out what its worth. The tractor has some body damage and reads 656.8 hours. It has a 7308 backhoe attachment that has one hydraulic leak. The front end loader seems to be in good shape and all complete. The tires are industrial tread and show lots of wear. The tractor and I am in Georgia if that make any difference in values. It seems to have been used by people who didn't own it or want to take care of it. Maybe its in my price range and I could sell back hoe attachment to help with up front cost.

Whats it worth today?

Thanks in advance for your help an advise.

I am a little skeptical about the hours on that tractor. Or maybe like you said, it hasn't been well cared for. Lots of wear on industrial tires is hard to believe with just 656 hours. Since the condition is questionable, I would say 12-13K if it runs good but that is difficult to say unless I saw it.

Hey,

It went for 13500. I stopped bidding at 12k just because of its appearance. It has not been treated well and was being sold at a forecloseure auction. I figured if they were loosing their equipment they may not have had the time or money to maintain it. There was a 10% buyers premium and sales tax on top of the final bid price. I walked.

I went shopping New Hollands yesterday after the auction. A new TC34DA is 20,400 with Loader, Ind. Tires, Fluid out the door. What do you think about this price. About 5k more for a new one with 2 years warranty.

10% buyers premium? That is crazy. That is not a Barret-Jackson auction. :D So it really went for $14750. If the hours were true and if it was in excellent shape, that would have been a good price. Still might be, but the risk of getting burned is significantly higher with that tractor. It always amazes me at autions how people never even run/drive the tractor and will buy it. Try so sell it on your own and it often seems difficult. Too many people get caught up in the emotion of bidding.
