It's time to upgrade my J2023 and these are my two top contenders in the "new" category. I need a little more HP for disking up food plots and using a 5ft tiller and I need more weight and traction for pulling power. Having SSQA bucket will be nice also and I think I'll go with shuttle shift this time.

My dealer I bought the J2023 from only carries the 3135 and wants $17,200 for a new shuttle or $8700 trade different on my J2023. They are always firm on their pricing so that's the best I'll get that machine for from them.

There's another dealer a short distance away that has a new 3032 in stock and sounds like they need to make room for new models. They want $16,400 for the 3032 shuttle. I'm thinking they may be willing to come down on the price since the XG3032 is getting replaced with a newer model. I'm thinking I might get this machine down under $16k, which would be a lot better for me.

Anyone have any thoughts on my choices? Pros/cons? LS are the only machines I'm looking at that are new as everybody else is way more expensive. I'm still keeping an eye on the used market for other brands.

If you can swing it financially I would go with the XG3135.

I started out looking at the XG3025 and the XG3135 then settled on the XG3140, and I'm glad I did. I use it on a 6.33 acre homestead. If you are going to spend the money go larger than you think you need. The main driver for me was the loader lift capacity.

I think either the 32 or the 35 will be big enough for me to grow into. My J2023 has a loader lift of 1200lbs and I've yet to need more lift capacity. I need weight and traction more than anything and a few more PTO HP.

Only difference I can tell between the 3032 and 3135 is the engine. 3032 uses the Shibaura and supposedly regens about every 5 hours while the 3135 uses the new LS engine and only regens every 40-50 hours. So for about $1000 more, I get fewer regen cycles, which I don't think is a big enough deal to me to justify the extra $1000.

that is a good price on the XG3135, I was told much more when I was deciding on what I was going to buy. I almost bought the XG3140 until I drove it around for a while, it was just to big for my property. I need something that can get in tight areas and it still be useful.

Not sure if its true what the dealer told me. They said the only difference between the XG3135 and the XG3140 is the loader has slightly larger lift cylinders but they have the same motors, one producing 5 more hp. Im sure the XG3032 and XG3037 are the same as well, and maybe if there was ever a need for slightly more then the 32.2 hp (27.4 pto) it comes with, you might be able to find a way to get the 4 hp with out buying a whole new tractor again.

I was told the same thing from my dealer.
