YM336D Hydraulic lift problem

I was using my 336 today when the the hyd lift quit working. I had been using it all day moving round bales and using the bush hog with no problem at all. The loader still works perfect so it's not the pump. Moving the lift lever has no efect on it like there is no oil going to the lift cyl at all. May be a stuck valve or blocked orifice. Anyone ever had a similar problem. Going to tear into it in the morning. Just thought I might get some Ideas. The loader plumbs into the lift valve so I know there is good hyd pressure at the valve.

Take the valve off first thats under the seat. Look for a blown oring or trash in there.

Looking at the valve is probably easier than changing/checking the lift piston seal, but do not adjust anything in that control valve. Could be an o-ring like clemsonfor suggested or a busted spring on the pressure relief ball valve which is usually incorporated into that position/draft control valve.

Round bales are heavy. Could be a possibility one of your relief valves opened but didn't seat back properly. Trash, broken spring, etc.

Thanks for the replies. Took the control valve apart and cleaned it. It works same as new again. Must have been trash. Possibly some picked up from the loader I installed about 10hrs back. I think I'll service the hydraulics again when I do the 50hr service on the rebuild I did.(Back to work)
