BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (Spring 2011) – The new Toro® 20-inch Recycler® mower offers homeowners an outstanding machine at a great price. More compact, and perfect for smaller yards, this lightweight, easy-to-use mower leaves your lawn looking great.

Topping its list of great features is the Toro overhead valve (OHV) engine. This advanced engine features an auto choke, no-prime starting system, eliminating the risk of flooding the engine, as well as 7.0 ft-lbs. of torque to efficiently process the thickest grass and leaves. There’s a Variable Speed Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) model and an Electric Start RWD model with a rugged Briggs & Stratton® engine designed for hassle-free starting.

Toro continually works to improve its Recycler® technology. This new mower’s 20-inch steel cutting deck features a deep, 4-inch dome design that makes it a highly efficient mulcher. The deck is designed to cut and re-cut grass blades several times before depositing them back into the turf. The deck is narrow and lightweight, making it easy to maneuver in tight spaces. Height of cut is easily adjusted (at each wheel) from 1 to 4 inches. The deck is 2-in-1 ready for mulching or rear bagging, and a side discharge chute can be added.

The push model weighs only 67 pounds. The RWD model, with a maintenance-free gearbox, weighs just 70 pounds.

Toro backs the performance of these mowers with a three-year power train limited warranty on the transmission and engine, and a three-year Guaranteed To Start (GTS) full warranty.
