Argo Tractors Awarded for Centuries of Quality

Argo is to be entered in the Historical Register of Italian Enterprises.

The date of establishment leaves no doubts. Founded back in 1884, Landini (today Argo Tractors) exceeds by far the centennial anniversary, an essential requirement to be qualified for entering the newly established Historical Register of Italian Enterprises.

The Register, set up to coincide with the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Unity of Italy, represents an initiative longed for by Unioncamere, Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce, and realized in collaboration with the whole Chamber’s system. A list of more than one thousand enterprises that have been manufacturing excellence for over a hundred years and that, by combining innovation with tradition, but also long-sightedness with a customer-driven attitude, have contributed towards the up-growth of our economic system.

To make the event even more successful, the issue of a volume entitled “Italy 150. The roots of the future” and the awarding of the entrepreneurial realities included in the Register.

Argo Tractors, one of the oldest companies among the 150 Italian historical enterprises qualified for this event and selected by the Chamber of Commerce throughout the Italian territory, has been awarded with this symbolic acknowledgement for having contributed with its own entrepreneurial merits towards the up-growth of the Italian economic system throughout the past 150 years of history.

During the past 128 years Landini has always maintained its authenticity of a wholly Italian company, thus becoming one of the most important players in the world in the tractor manufacturing sector.

“We are proud of being among the Italian Companies included in this register” said the President of Argo Tractors Mr. Valerio Morra on the occasion of this prize-awarding. Based at Fabbrico since the very beginning and with 4 manufacturing plants in the province of Reggio Emilia, Landini represents the true “Made in Italy” with a brand being very renowned and present on the market worldwide”.

The prize-awarding represents then a tribute to a reality that has translated tradition and continuity, but also its capacity of adapting itself to the continuous market evolution, into the leitmotiv of its long history. A history that represents a true patrimony to capitalize on and to be handed down to future generations.
