KIOTI Univ. Announces 2010 Course Offerings

Wendell, NC – KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong Industrial Company Ltd, recently announced the courses that will be offered this winter at KIOTI University, KIOTI’s dedicated technician training school, located within their corporate headquarters in Wendell, North Carolina. A total of 8, 2-day classes will be held from January 8th – March 9th focusing on topics such as hydraulics, electrical components, air conditioning, engines and tractor transmissions.

“The majority of our courses are scheduled after the fall harvest season and before the spring planting season when technicians are more apt to be able to attend,” states Joel Hicks, Technical Support Supervisor for KIOTI Tractor. “While we offer the same core classes each year, there are always new classes being added with the curriculum being updated to accommodate new products and cover enhanced features on our existing tractor models.”

KIOTI University was established in 2001 and has consistently grown since that time in terms of its course offerings and attendance. All classes offered at KIOTI University are free of charge to KIOTI dealers interested in participating in the courses and in sharpening their service skills. All classes are both academic and practical in nature, with all participants receiving a textbook, as well as performing hands on simulations to diagnose and repair tractor service and maintenance issues in KIOTI’s lab.

“Both attendance and interest in KIOTI University has significantly increased in recent years”, states Michael, Product Support Manager for KIOTI. “Dealers enjoy coming to our headquarters to increase their technical knowledge in servicing KIOTI Tractors and Implements. We enjoy watching them learn and building relationships with them that help KIOTI customers across the country receive better overall service and parts support. It’s a win-win situation for both the dealer and KIOTI.”

Following successful completion of a course, attendees are asked to rate both the instructor and the curriculum. KIOTI uses this feedback from their dealers to fine-tune future courses and to gain a better understanding on what other courses would be of interest to their dealers. “KIOTI’s training is some of the best I’ve ever attended,” states Roger Egger, owner of Egger Truck and Machinery of Dunville, Ontario. “KIOTI’s commitment to providing dealers with thorough, cost-effective product training helps us sell more tractors and provide top-notch support to those who purchase a KIOTI.”
