Mahindra USA selected historic Nashville, TN, which experienced major widespread floods in 2010, to be the site of its pinnacle event, the 2013 National Dealer Meeting, November 13-16, 2013, as part of Mahindra’s Rise philosophy for growth, success and driving positive change in the North American market. The event brought more than 1,000 attendees from all over the world and will generate $5 million for the Nashville economy. Mahindra previously selected Galveston for its 2012 meetings when that city was rebounding from the devastating impact of Hurricane Ike in 2008. The experiences of both Nashville and Galveston in recovering and moving forward from major natural disasters epitomize Mahindra’s culture.

“We have been warmly welcomed in Nashville this week. The hospitality and charm of this city reinforces our decision to host the 2013 National Dealer Meetings here. We can see first-hand the amazing spirit that is resurrecting Nashville from devastating floods in the true Rise spirit of Mahindra,” said Franklin. “We have enjoyed painting the town Mahindra red and look forward to experiencing all Nashville has to offer in the coming days.”

“I am pleased that Mahindra USA recognized our city’s resiliency in recovering from the 2010 floods and, as a result, chose Nashville to host its National Dealer meeting this year,” Mayor Dean said. “We are a vibrant city with a great culture of service, and I appreciate Mahindra’s own spirit of generosity.”

The dealer group is being hosted at the new Omni Nashville Hotel with a special evening planned at the Country Music Hall of Fame to showcase the “Spirit of Rise.” Mahindra is one of the first companies to host an event in Nashville’s new convention center, the Music City Center.
