URSUS Awarded 2015 European Medal

On the 10th June 2015 in Reduta Hall Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw the ceremony of awarding the European Medals took place.

The Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board URSUS S.A. Mr Henryk Goryszewski receiving the medal on behalf of the Company said: “I believe that there are two aspects that contributed to assigning this award to the company URSUS”: reconstruction of the brand which became popular not only in Poland, but also abroad, and impressive dynamics of the company on foreign markets. I think that these two issues appealed to the committee selecting laureates awarded with the European Medal”. In his opinion this distinction received today from BCC represents a certain reward for the efforts of the Management Board of URSUS S.A. to regain the former splendor of the brand  and an incentive to take further actions related to development of the production plants and the range of products offered by the factory of Ursus.–  “The European Medal I had a pleasure to receive on behalf of the company Ursus S.A. clearly demonstrates that a domestic company with important traditions and only Polish capital also has a chance of success not only on the Polish, but also on foreign markets, in a relatively short period of time” – said the former prime minister Henryk Goryszewski after the ceremony.               

Business Centre Club with the honorary patronage of the European Economic and Social Committee with the seat in Brussels is organizer of a nationwide undertaking titled: European Medal.

The aim of this undertaking is at highlighting and promoting products and services offered by companies operating in Poland, stimulating interest in European standards and regulations of the European Union, stimulating interest in multi-million European Union market among Polish entrepreneurs, stimulating consumers’ and European Union entrepreneurs’ interest in the European Medal laureates.

The European Medal is awarded to products and services that meet the European standards. Nominated products and services must comply with standards required by the law and have the appropriate licenses and patents. The Company’s dynamics, obtained awards and certificates are important as well.

The product of the Company awarded with the European Medal is the agricultural tractor C-380. This model is characterized by high versatility, thanks to which it can be used not only in agriculture, but also in orchard sector, gardening, as well as transport and urban services.  The tractor is equipped with economical, durable PERKINS engine and comfortable, optimized gear box 12×12 with mechanical reverse.
