Built this truck up from scratch in 99 for plumbing service work (tan truck) and built up the red trucks for construction and pulling the backhoe and tractors. Hopefullly I will have the time to paint and refurbish these trucks in the spring.
Interesting trucks you have...Never seen toolboxes like that mounted on the body...

    Artisan,

What is the chain saw holder made of? As I work in my foreset I could use something like that. It appears you made the insert of wood so that part should be easy as I could use the router to make the bar recess. Is the container plastic or steel?

Ron it is a piece of 4x6 wood! I just clamped it into a vise, fired up the
chainsaw and plunge cut a slot. BE VERY CAREFUL if you try that, it is
a dangerous job, do not try this at home!

Thanks, I think my router idea is safer. I would use two 2X6 and glue and screw together. Excellent idea though, new project on top of the 10 I am already working on. I finally figured out the best way to do those bushings for my FEL project. I ordered some shaft couplings on Amazon.com. They are CR steel same as the CR safting pins. Thanks for those ifdeas though also. Amazing what you can find on amazon. How is the plumbing business going?
