Here's another review submitted on the EverythingAttachments Facebook Page by Brian in NY:

"The 60 inch grapple and the 3rd function combo I bought earlier this spring from EA is awesome. Great quality , great design and fabrication. I tell everyone not to be fooled by less expensive models that are heavier, with inferior materials and crudely assembled. I own a CNC/fab shop and we know quality when we see it."

That's high praise from someone in a related field.

Here's a review recently submitted by John in Oklahoma, who has our 66" Wicked Grapple.

"Have been using on my Kubota MX4700 for a year or so.
Dad thinks it's the best money we've spent at the ranch. We've moved over a thousand cut trees with this beast. I don't baby equipment and nothing has bent or moved on the grapple. Keep it greased and things still operate quietly and smoothly. It really has saved our backs! Thanks EA for a solid product! Highly recommended!"

Here's a new review submitted by Tom in Massachusetts. He has the 66" Wicked Root Grapple on his TC33 New Holland.

"If anyone is hesitant on purchasing this grapple don't be. I looked at quite a few different brands of grapples and this one is by far a better buy that the cheep ones.
I used it for the first time today and it works flawlessly , I moved more brush in an hour than I could have done in a half of day with my quick attach forks.
The grapple was shipped in a timely fashion , I was able to track my order and it was delivered on the day it was supposed to be .
Thank You E.A. , you have a new customer."

I like mine, looks very tough and Im not worried of its strength. The paint left something to be desired a bit. Its still a ground engaging unit but its still nice to keep the rust off the parts that aren't constantly getting wiped clean by the earth. My bottom side was totally raw, not just the tines either. Problem is now I have to blast it if I want good paint on there. Cant paint over something that isnt itself adhering to the base metal. Its probably a minor thing, I still give it a 9.5/10. Might be a winter project to blast it. The paint isnt a reason to overlook the grapple though, I think with a 50-60$ discount I would have had it shipped out raw steel though for my own painting. Maybe im just being picky though?

That is not typical of our paint dept., and I will let the guys know to pay more attention to that before shipping.
If you send me some pics to travis@(Temporarily blocked due to reports of company closure), I will show it to Ted.

I suppose they just missed painting the bottom. However, I can assure you that whatever paint would have been applied to the bottom of a grapple would be scraped off within relatively few uses anyways. My nine year old grapple still has paint on the upper frame and mid portions of the tines as well as on most of the upper jaw, but the rest is scraped off. It develops a coat of rust every winter (lives outside near seashore) but that is removed with the first few uses each spring. I suppose if you only pick up brush and don't stick the tines into the dirt that the paint would survive but otherwise it won't.

Like said, the missing paint was probably just an oversight, not a huge deal, I'm not overly concerned about it, but the next guy might be? It was just to pass the word along, as reviews are what help the end product get better.

I understand that part, but the point of buying a new one is, its new. :D You could say " it would get that way" about anything. You don't expect paint on a new car to be full of rail dust and pits in the windshield, I mean its going to get dirty anyway right?

Understood and you have my sympathy. I feel the same way about all my new toys, even the ones I fully intend to beat the crap out of. However, in this case it really doesn't matter so you shouldn't lose sleep over it. Your grapple will live just as long and the absent paint won't affect function one iota. If they had to screw up something, that is about the most benign thing they could have screwed up. When I got one of my implements it turned out the manufacturer had taken the shiny mounting pins out so they wouldn't get painted. Instead they sprayed paint into the mount holes which I had to scrape and sand off in order to get the pins back in. Charming. Sometimes less is more.
