CL is great. Bought a BEFCO flail (paint still on tines, 5 foot) for $600. Yamaha golf cart for $2000 (retail for $7000) 2 years old.

Have to agree that cl can be a source for some good deals. One of the best ones I got was a 10 ton HF portable hydraulic unit for $60. It looked unused; the case was missing one of the wheels, but it can be moved just fine with a hand truck. Only used it a couple of times so far, but they sure are hard to beat for certain things.

For me it's addicting too...I've found some of the best deals when the seller hasn't posted any pics. I think a lot of people don't even pay attention to the ad if it doesn't have photos. I agree with others, gotta check often and act fast when you see a deal or it will be gone. Some of my best finds...5' Bush Hog box blade with rippers for $300, JD wood barge box wagon with nice gear and working hoist for $200, a JD 955 tractor a couple years ago on CL with cozy cab, loader, and front blade for $7500...I was the first caller. I've also had decent luck selling things here and there.

Pretty happy with my latest Cl find. $180 total for both tanks. I may have made an error with the paint though. Ill probably have to trade my Kubota in for a JD...

I have not found anything on craigslist recently. I was pretty lucky and sold 2 things on there. The one thing lasted less than 24 hours.

My name is Andy and I have a Craiglist & zoomthelist addiction! I have scored some of the best stuff on CL. I wanted a 3pt chipper, got it for $200 and its awesome. Got a 8' disc, Ford 4400 TLB, Ford 3000, Case 350B dozer, 3pt 10 bag cement mixer, post hole digger, box blade, back blade, brush hog, 16' equipment trailer all for about $10k. I got my eyes on another beauty too but I'm not say'n!

Latest one for me ...... 03 Mahindra 3510 4x4 with FEL and a 5 foot rotary cutter ... $2800
It probably sat outside its whole life so its got that nice shade of Mahindra pink to it. Will put another 1k in it for paint ,seat, replace plastic fender trim etc and have a very nice looking tractor.

Also picked up one of the heaviest guage steel I have seen 20x18 disk that had been used one time for $500.
