Thats what is is. A snow fitter. It was a oe plow package.

Check out what happened to me today in the previous thread called "snow plow mounted in bucket." Too much to rewrite again, but true none to boot. I lucked out big time on this one . Wonder if I'll be able to sleep tonight. Not a problem, I'll tell ya now.

You can see how deep the snow is piling on my shop drive. There's actually a small ditch on the left side of the drive, but that's been filled in and then some. I had just finished removing snow and the wind kicked up and started filling it in. Have to do it again tonite.

There's the '74 Dodge Sno-fighter that I used to use to keep everything plowed. It had less than 60,000 miles on it and had the straight axle. Yes, I kept a few ballast resistors on hand and a printout from a Chilton's manual so that I would make sure I didn't put it in upside down. Darn thing looked symetrical, but it isn't (learned the hard way). The old Farmall M is on the right.

The second pic is the view looking back as I'm blowing snow and the wind is not co-operating. We had an unusual wet and heavy snowfall. This is not nearly as bad as it is when the snow is light and powdery - the entire tractor is coverd in "powdered sugar". Now you can see why I'm not overly fond of blowing snow as opposed to plowing.

That must be hard on the wiper when it starts to freeze.

Nice looking shop you got there Pat,for one could have a grand time building also PM work out of the weather.

Kinda of a bummer,when the snow all push back and than you hear the wind come up,out one goes and plow all over again...kinda like two storms in one.

How many hours do you have on Pumkin now?

Living in the land of no seasons, I just marveled at the amazing transformation from one shot to the other. It looks like they were taken on two different planets.

Anybody else out there got some summer/winter contrast pictures?
