A Landscape Rake is unsuitable for raking leaves. You need a Pinestraw Rake for moving leaves.

How about employing your spelling checker?

Sorry I didn't know spell check was a requirement. I am a back woods redneck it is amazing I know where the power button is on the computer LOL but thanks for answering my question!!!

It's not! Don't worry about it.

I agree - SPREAD the wood chips and then apply the topsoil. Do not leave it in bunches, as it decomposes it will cause the ground to sink. I just spread about 20 yards of stump grindings this spring.

A landscape rake is no good for leaves. It'd be great for leveling topsoil (not clay/chunky crap/etc), removing rocks, and it creates just about a final seedbed with it though.

I wouldn't use a landscape rake for leaves unless you don't care about messing up your lawn. It is too aggressive and will pull our your grass as well as the leaves.
