Yes - it should be clear in the thread that the parts in question have been more or less locked together by friction, temperature, etc. and not by something as stupid as a snap ring.

Actually it wasnt clear.
What is clear.....the pto shaft wont come off and the shear pin is broke. Some people dont realize there is a snap ring on there or is supposed to be. You dont have to be a smart @$$ about it, a simple answer to the question that was asked would have been sufficient. I was trying to help. Not anymore. Glad its your problem and not mine.

Lets see, what's "clear" according to your shrewd observation is that the shear pin was broken though a simple reading of the OP would make it clear that the shear pin wasn't broken, just removed.
Read the thread a little better next time and you'll be in a better position to contribute - not that all that snap ring stuff wasn't fascinating...

I read the thread just fine. This being your first post to this website, and wanting help, then are quick to start being a smart @$$ towards the people you are asking help from.
We have no idea who you are, or what your level of experience is. Something that is seized or stuck may mean different things to different people. So next time, maybe post a little more specific detail, or perhaps some pictures, and you will get lots better answers. You have no idea how many times someone new comes on here, and asks questions; but have no idea what they are talking about, use incorrect terminology, etc. Through asking questions we can actually get to the bottom of just whats going on. But aparently you took offense to us asking questions. Then failed to answer them. And you have been given real good suggestions already....have you tried any of them?
Lets recap.....
Post 5 asked what you were working on
Post 6 asked if you had a manual
You didnt give a response to either of those.
Post 3 said mow some saplings
Did you try that? Put the snap ring back on, go use the cutter without the shear bolt. Or did you already try that and we are somehow supposed to already know that too?

The only things clear to me are that you haven't tried any of the suggestions so far, and that 40% of your posts are critical comments back to people trying to help you. Good luck.

You need to change your attitude. These people were trying to help you. LD1 does a lot of brush mowing and could have helped out a newbie like yourself.

Email can get misread. I think this is what happened.
In the earlier post he did not reply to, I think he ignored irrelevant posts.
I do see where and why you see it that way, but I do not see he intended it that way.
