We did....

Still kinda dry, but weather forcast seems to address that issue quite well in the next few days.

Don't necessarily need a tiller to get into that kind of situation.
I was cutting an exercise path along my fence line with a 48" KK box blade. This farm fence has to be at least 30 years old and the bottom has become buried. Hooked the fence wire : with one of the scarifiers and ripped out 15 ft before I knew what was happening. Oh well, I plan to replace that old fence with an "architectural" fence (sometime in the future). /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've had a hose running out to a section of pasture for the past couple of years, so it kinda got covered with grass.

This past week it was time to run water to several new places, this area being the main focus.

Do you know how fast a DitchWitch can wind up a hose? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif At least it didn't take a torch to get it out.

Indy,

Had a similar experience last summer while doing a yard for a friend. Everything was going along fine until I found a piece of old pipe and a water hydrant laying under the surface of the dirt. Well the Rhino ST47 didn't like it. Broke the mounting bracket, the shear bolt and the chain. Needless to say we spent the next couple of hours straightening the three point bracket and welding it and then hunting parts...what fun that was. I now have a 60" KK tiller and we were back finishing up some yard where they had moved a house and even though there were some roots and some concrete chunks the KK worked great....concrete does ten to put a dent in the upper plate though!

LarryD, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I can just see that!!

I'll bet it was faster than Bob's new hose reel... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It probably is faster than Bob's HD hose reel. But now instead of a 100' hose, I've got a bunch of 5' hoses. I don't think I'll be needing a hose reel for those. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

On the up side, I have stand pipes at all the paddocks now and these short pieces of hose will be perfect for filling water troughs. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
