TSC Landscape rake: any opinions?

Maybe King Kutter makes them but TSC uses some other brand name on the rakes...... I guess KK does private branding for TSC.

Or, I guess another possibility is the there are regional variations in the suppliers that TSC uses. KK is located in Alabama. I've called a local TSC here in Georgia. With heavy attachments, they may save on shipping by using different suppliers across the country. Obviously, just a guess on my part.

Price for the six foot rake with gauge wheels was 627.90

This is almost identical to my cost if I add the price of the gauge wheels to their wheeless version. I do find it interesting that your store carries them with the wheels and mine does not. Kind of makes me think they use different suppliers.

Actually they stocked them both ways, with and without.

(Was Tractor Force the name maybe??. I believe they are one in the same as King Kutter!)

From what I can tell, it appears that TSC now carries lines of 3pt equipment from two different manufactures, King Kutter, which is made by King Kutter Incorporated of Winfield, AL, and an in-house brand named Farm Force, which is manufactured by Tarter Gate in Kentucky. The Farm Force products appear to be identical to Tarter Gate's American Farmland line of 3pt equipment American Farmland by Tarter Gate. The manager at my local TSC indicated that the reason for the two lines is that they can get the Farm Force products quicker and they are more profitable for TSC. The TSC manager also tried to convince me that Farm Force and King Kutter was about the same quality. However, IMO I believe that King Kutter products are a little more heavy duty. Furthermore, there was a recent post on TBN where someone purchased one of the Farm Force rakes and returned it because the post holding the wheel bent during the 1st use. TBN Thread Concerning TSC/Farm Force

That is exactly the one I saw at TSC. It is distinctive because of the yellow color and particularly because of the position of the gauge wheels. Photo from the website attached.
