This will only be put together once the snow's gone, but I've been gathering parts and recently started doing some fab work, so couldn't help but start a thread. 
It's going to be 4'X4', 2X8 C channel runners, 4" pipe crossmembers (filled with sand), Zamboni blade adjustable from 0-1", manual adjustable with two trailer jack mounted casters, operator's seat (for operating the jacks)
Here's the sketch I used to explain to my neighbor (Colin) how it's going to work LOL

2" up, 6" long

I bent that piece with my mini maul most of the way and held it with an 1/8" gap with the bench vice while I welded it. Capped the end with some 1/4"



I don't think I'll bother tapering the back edge...

That's it for now, but the plan is to have everthing ready for final assembly in the spring. I'm thinking it's going to weigh around 300lbs, and Colin will make it 480lbs.
