My dad has a friend who has an old 3pt/60" Brillion overseeder....been "retired" outside for 5+ years....I dont have pics but looked it over a bit...seems rough, but could be fixed...chains, sprockets, etc all need to be replaced...sheetmetal is banged up but all there... He'd sell it, shot a price of $900 bucks out, but said He'd be interested in any offer...
What would you guys reccomend...I also hate to pay too much, put too much into it and while I'd have an overseeder...I woulda paid too much.
One thing that kills me is my "dislike" for 5' equipment...I'd be more interested if it were a 6 footer...or 6.5' at the minimum...
Dunno if i'd keep it...what I'm thinking of is buying, fixing up 100% and then reselling after I play with it for a week or so
Any thoughts/ideas/things to keep in mind?
