I do the same sort of approach to adding rear weight. Either the JD weight or the Land Pride land plane, depending on the project.

I haven't loaded the tires, but I avoid getting carried away with very heavy loads because I don't want to break the tractor.

I have a 2210 with a 210 loader (works geat) and it will not pick the rear wheels off the ground because the pressure releif valve is doing it's job. Use caution when moving heavy loads. Keep your bucket low to the ground. My tractor feels very unstable when on uneven ground and when the bucket is raised above the hood. I do not have a weight on the 3ph.

Do you have a manual for the loader? On my large farm loaders the manuals are very specific about how much ballast to use. both on the rear axle and 3pt hitch.

do you know if they make a plow to mount to the bucket frame for the JD 2210
