Hi all, just completed my 50 hr service last week on our new EX50 DAEDONG, drained the front diff oil ok, drained the LH front bevel hub ok, tried to drain the RH front hub but oil only drips out but it is still full looking in the filler hole. looking in the drain hole tried to poke small wire in but it appears to have the side of lower bearing blocking the drain hole. it seems the oil drain hole has been drilled too low in the housing.
has anyone come across this before?? regards XCAT |

my dealer came out and inspected the tractor couple of weeks ago and agreed that somthing wasnt right. i needed the tractor for some farming works and couldnt take it out of service until yesterday. the dealer came out and took the tractor back to the work shop and dropped it back today all fixed. it turns out that there is a cir clip in the lower swivel housing that the ends of were not lined up with the drain hole. the oil needs to drain through the lower bearing and out past the cir clip via the end gap of the same cir clip.
cheers xcat |
