I'm with you on this one. There's a big difference between Kubota prices in USD and CAD. I don't understand why though. For small parts, I buy in the US, ask dealers to send the package to Richford VT and I go there to pick up my packages. I save a lot like that.

Did you even look at the link I posted? The BX23 is described in the Kubota BX Series price list starting on page 15.

Yes I did but stopped at pg 12 when it looked like it was for the newer 50/30 series stuff and figured it just had the 24 stuff as 23 is discontinued next time will read the whole thing and I saved a copy to my hard drive anyway.

Is there a magic percentage a person should expect when seeking a discount from a dealer.

I know with RV’s they say stand your ground at 30% from suggested retail or walk away.

Or, do you just keep asking here and hope someone got a Gonga deal that you can glom onto?

A lot depends on where you live and sometimes on the size of the dealership and sometimes on the model. It's hard to say what's a good deal and what's a bad deal. Here in the Northeast a 10% discount is good and 15% would be great if you can find a dealer willing to sell for that.

Of course there will always be the dealer who will sell for any discount just to move a tractor off the lot. I'd be a little cautious with these guys.
