I swear, I must have the best wife in the world! I've actually been considering the purchase of a tractor, loader, backhoe combination for several years, but only occassionally spoke of it. This year she says to me, "Why don't you go and buy that tractor you've wanted for so long? Most of your indoor projects are finished; let's start working on some of our outdoor projects." So... take a look at what arrived earlier today - less than a month after hearing those incredible words - by golly, it's Christmas in April!!!

Lastly, this is the new seat I spoke about in another thread.
As I said earlier, I've read enough horror stories in this forum about the terrible seat that comes with the B2630/3030 that I sent an e-mail to Kubota's Customer Satisfaction group prior to purchasing my tractor. They forwarded it to the NE service group who contacted me two days later. They informed me that sometime this spring the B2630/3030 will be getting a new seat design, but that he didn't know exactly when or what it looked like. Needless to say, I got them to throw the new seat into the deal (to supposedly be installed at a later date).
Turns out, I called the dealer to schedule my delivery. While on the phone, he tells me that Kubota sent them my new seat and that it's already been installed for me (now that's customer service!) It's not the same seat as on the F3680, but the shape is very similar and seems quite comfortable (fits the back side nicely and is shaped to hold you centered in the seat).
I'm now looking forward to many years of productive, comfortable seat time
!
