ljohnson, I thought I saw 'Dual Traction' somewhere, but couldn't find it.
Thanks for the info.

It is definitely "Dual Traction" as it says on my operators manual. But that manual is not very helpful. Back to the original question, where to get a fair priced repair/shop manual for a L3000DT. Any one found one yet?

When I bought them in the past I got the best price from a mail order dealer.

If you happen to buy any parts manuals, it's an eclectic experience. Some models seem to have them while a closely related model may not. The only parts manual I could get for my M8950 was a cab model yet the majority of tractors were open station. While I bought the "wrong" parts manual just to have something, it failed to cover the model I had. Beats me.

ljohnson--Let me compliment you on the excellent detective work regarding the Kubota model designation a couple posts earlier. I don't think any other maker has made so many models and so many changes.

I highly recommend Lashley Tractor. They have conistantly
been cheaper on price on everything I have checked. Additionally
so long as an item is not "wholegoods", if it is over $50.00 the
shipping is FREE. I usually hunt down a guy there named Tracy.
Please tell him Hello for me.

Thanks... I'd love to take credit, but it was posted on another forum by a Kubota tech. Came across it when I had my M6040 and hung on to it for reference.

This is an old post, but thought I'd offer the part number for the L3800HST as I just ordered one:

9Y121-05200

Mark
