Back with the Orange :-) Kubota F3690AU 72"

Well , after a couple of years with a Hustler Hyperdrive 60" , I couldn't resist a bargain price ( for over here .......... ) on a new F3690 72" and an excellent trade in ( due to huge Hustler rrp increases here in 3 years ...... ) .
Some of you will remember I had a BX2360 54" for several years . My GR owning neighbour bought a Hustler X One in 2013 and I was seduced by the speed:confused2: The zero is an utterly different machine in operating method from the BX and as time marched on , I lusted after a 4x4 diesel once again . The F3690AU ( no particulate laws here ) and side dis 72" was USD19200 delivered , from the same place and guy I bought my BX from in 2010 .

Very nice! I like the "F" series, a serious mower for sure, although that Hustler look's pretty mean as well. 2 different beast for sure.
At one point I had a Kub. zero and a very old "F", our mowing need's got smaller, I let the Z go and kept the 30 year old F-2000:thumbsup:

I cut 4 acres of my own , and 6-7 times a year I do the neighbour's 6 acres next door when they're in Zurich for the European summer visiting relatives . I do our end of the street's green-sides too ( maybe an acre there ? ) when I do my lawns ....... It's all rather ad hoc

Needed a garden trailer hitch , so got a local mob to cut/bend/weld/drill this 5mm steel plate ( USD30 ) , and assembled it this afternoon with a load of big washers and M12 .
Don't ask why there's two holes aside .............. my writing isn't too clear and they thought it read 240mm :ashamed:

I like that, it cuts the grass before you can run over it. It would be perfect on these hill country weeds. Does it come in left hand drive?
