Best Tractor Of This Size Ever

So far, this has been a wonderful purchase. The only issue is with the snowboard. Newspapers like to destroy shear pins. The issue is with the newspaper delivery adults who throw the papers in the driveway. Where have the kids gone?

Great Tractor

Use it primarily for snow blowing. Have Curtis cab, heater, halogen lights. Have very long steep driveway and I never get stuck. Loads the engine down but never have to stop. Already paid for the blower.

Pros: Great torque. Reliable. Pleasure to run.
Cons: None.

Kubota BX 2360

I was sold on buying a John Deere before I started looking at Kubota tractors. A friend of mine, who had worked in landscaping, suggested I look at Kubota, so I did. I have worked for a large defense company that builds light armored vehicles and so I was very impressed by the heavy duty design of the Kubota BX series. One of the things I really liked, was that the BX series has 3-cylinder diesel Kubota engines in them, made by Kubota. And, the BX series is made in the U.S.A.! I use mine to cut grass, till very large gardens, dig trenches, move dirt and heavy stuff with the loader, dig post-holes, blow snow (of course, up here in Canada), plant grass, spread fertilizer, spread gravel with the box scraper, and more! I've had no issues whatsoever and would by another one in an instant. In fact, my brother just bought a brand new BX 2370 with loader and snow blower from the same dealer where we got excellent service and unbeatable prices!

Pros: 3-cylinder diesel built by Kubota! Great dealers!
Cons: My wife doesn't like orange.

Right Tractor for My Needs

Purchased the Kubota BX2360 for mowing and light grading on some property we have outside town and for various functions at our home, which has a large (2+ acre) lot. In addition to the 60" mower deck, I purchased an aftermarket back blade. The tractor has met all expectations. It is easy to operate, solid, reliable and has been able to do everything I need. During summer I mow a 3 acre field which is hilly and rough. The four wheel drive feature is especially valuable in assuring stability on hillsides. I am very happy with this vehicle.

Pros: Well built, solid and reliable. Easy to operate, 4 wheel drive expands versitility.
Cons: 60 inch mower deck is quite heavy and can be a struggle to install by ones self.

Very happy with this tractor and attachments. I wish the loader was a little stronger. The Woods 48" box blade and Woods 52" tiller are perfect fits for me. I added some quick attach to my three point hitch arms---WOW, is that a help. 60" deck mows well. I put a five foot snow blade on this tractor for winter, it handles most Illinois snow with ease. Overall, I am very pleased with the tractor, not perfect, but what is. Because I am aging I will place more premium on ease of attaching implements during my next purchase, aches and pains are catching up with me.

Pros: Great performance at right price. Very dependable.
Cons: Missing quick-attach features for tools. Fuel filters. Leaky front rims.

Awesome tractor with front end loader, 60" belly mower. 4 wheel drive here in the mountains is great, as we have steep grades and many rough areas.

Pros: Strong and very fuel efficent.
Cons: Need better seat on rough ground.

Best Toy I Ever Bought is What My Wife Says

First off only reason for the 4 star on the dealer is because he closed; 'till then they were GREAT. Even though my wife calls it a toy it is anything but. I was raised working with tractors and heavy equipment and the Kubota will match anything or beat it size for size. We built a new home in the woods on 22 acres in 2009. I cleared 1 acre of yard. The rest is to stay wooded but for a garden and food plot. The 2360 may be small but it has done every thing we ask of it as in skidding trees out for fire wood (6 cord per year), running a 4' Bush Hog to clear the underbrush out of 8 acres, grading with a 5' back blade, plowing the 700' driveway, building the driveway with 10 truck loads of shells (230 yards) with blade and York rake... I could go on and on but you get the idea: I LOVE THIS TRACTOR. By the way my wife now runs it as often as I let her.

Pros: Power, cat1 3pt, FEL, easy to maintain.
Cons: HST fan poor design.

2012 Kubota BX2360

This purchase was wholly my wife's idea. I am the mechanical side of our life, she is the landscaping and decorating side. Our guy that we normally hired for moving the dirt from one side of our lot got a real job, so we had find another route. We had started looking for a used unit, compact or subcompact tractor with a FEL and gannon box, something in the $2-$6K area. But when she found this one at Inland Tractor in Redlands, CA, and it was 0 interest with a price that most used Kubotas were selling for, she was hooked! I know nothing about little tractors, not even that the name for little tractors was 'compact'. and Inland Tractors was patient and explained everything to us. They get the highest reviews from us. The tractor is a toy, but it works hard for what it is. Maneuverable and easy to operate, it is everything she wants for working our little property.

Pros: Big enough to move the dirt she wants, small enough to fit through our gates.
Cons: I have to wash it constantly.

I purchased the tractor primarily to mow the lawn and blow the driveway. I really didn't need a tractor this large, but I splurged and am glad I did. The tractor has worked perfectly for mowing and leaf removal. I have yet to blow snow with it but for the first time am looking forward to a big storm. The front end loader has been very useful and has allowed me to do more yard work than I would have done with out it .

Pros: Great overall quality and ease of use.
Cons: Would of liked it if they designed the quick connect for the snowblower to remain on the tractor while the loader was attached.

Our municipality bought one to replace our John Deere 345 and I feel torn on letting the Deere go if/when it is sold. My biggest issue with the Kubota BX2360 is using the reverse pedal to back up. It does not feel natural in having to lift your whole leg up and down in tight reversing situations. Where the Deere has 2 smaller pedals next to each other that you push forward with your foot that is used for forward and reverse. It is SO much easier to get into or out of tight spaces that way. The other thing is the throttle direction (to me) is backwards. Meaning to speed the engine up you pull it back instead of pushing it forward. Every tractor I've used before has the throttle lever getting pulled back to slow engine speed. Lastly, do all Kubota tractors with hydrostatic transmissions "whine" when they are used? The oil level is correct, but it sounds like it is low on oil all the time. Overall, it's an okay tractor with 43 hours on it in 5 months, whereas the Deere has over double the hours in the same time due to it being much easier to use. One tractor is always dirty from use and the other is showroom clean! Kubota should at least think about re-designing a different reverse pedal like other manufactures currently use.

Pros: Good engine, cupholders, nice paint job.
Cons: Awkward reverse pedal, whining transmission, hard to pull off hood.

Orange Power

I purchased the Kubota for a number of reasons but primarily to have an all purpose tractor to help me around my 27 acre property. I purchased it with the 60 inch cutting deck, snow blower attachment and front end loader, all of which have been used and have made life much easier on a big property. For a small tractor, it is powerful yet agile and very easy to use. The attachments are easy to mount and dismount on my own. I am very happy with what I believe is more an investment instead of a purchase.

Pros: Easy to use, comfortable, speed, hydraulics, good dealer support.
Cons: The cost of a snowblower shear pin.

A Great Machine, But...

The Kubota BX2360 is a great machine. Good power...real good power. I have a FEL and PTO mid-mower, plus I bought a 3 point scrape blade. Now looking at a middle buster. I really like this machine... except, I wish it was adaptable for a backhoe. I'll appreciate any information anyone has about a backhoe attachment for the BX2360 - Woods, or Liberty 3 point, or ...?

Pros: Great size, right power.
Cons: Missing a backhoe.

I bought this new with the FEL and 60"MMM. I have added a CountyLine bush hog, CountyLine subsoiler, and a BX42 Wallenstein chipper. I am in the process of clearing about 2-3 acres for now, and am totally pleased with the 2360 except for the occassional abrupt stop from reverse, but I am learning how to control it better. I did my own 50 hour service and will continue to do so.

Pros: Quality, reliability.
Cons: Reverse.

I have enjoyed it so far and would recommend it to others. It will work pretty hard as long as you add some weight to it for loader work or lifting.

Pros: Size, motor, loader is great! Plenty of power.
Cons: 3 point not very easy to adjust, not like larger tractors I have been use to.

This tractor is great, I don't have a lot of time on it, but it's a little work horse. I purchased it with a FEL and added a Land Pride rake - both work very well.

Pros: Great little tractor.

BX2360 Right Sized for My Property

This is my first tractor. My needs are mowing 6 acres, tilling s large garden plot, general landscaping and (as I determined after the purchase) minor excavation/leveling for road and garage construction. When I started looking for tractors I looked for ones with a dealer that would be close by. That left Kioti, John Deere, Kubota, Cub Cadet and New Holland (same dealer for the last two). The Deere dealer wasn't very interested in my business and offered me a used 2210 (350 hours) with belly mower and rototiller for about the same as the BX2360. Didn't bother to show me subcompact tractors. It might have been a horse race if he'd shown me (even via brochure) a 1026r. The Kioti was just too large, I really needed something more like a subcompact. Cub and New Holland just didn't come into it as the dealer is really more into ag and not really into small stuff. So I chose Kubota. I was vacillating between the BX1860 and BX2360 and, except for the excavation and leveling, the BX 1860 would probably have been more than enough, although I didn't know it at the time. I chose the BX2360 simply to have a reserve of capability and for the 60" mower. Since I bought the loader after It wasn't on the 60 month 0 % financing. Now for my impression of the tractor. This is a very capable machine. The loader digs through our soil fairly easily, although I have ordered a tooth bar to make this easier. It also is a really fine mower - I mowed all six acres in about 4 hours, a speed I expect to get better as I familiarize myself with the terrain - gently sloping with some rock outcroppings and a few ruts not visible when I first mowed the 6" tall grass. I ran the machine at around 2500-2600 rpm, about 80% of full throttle. I have put more hours on the loader, slowly digging out and leveling what will ultimately be a spot for a 28x36 garage. This tractor is really strong, does a really good job of digging as attested by the huge pile of dirt I'm still trying to figure out what to do with. Would I buy this tractor again? You betcha. The only other I would consider is John Deere 1026r - I like the auto attach mower and rear implements, much easier than trying to reach under the tractor and attach the mower. Wish Kubota would develop something like it.

Pros: Subcompact size, power, maneuverability, large mower deck.
Cons: Slightly rough ride, Rear pto doesn't lift high enough, no "auto attach" for mower/rear implements.
