I haven't been able to find one person on TBN that has the front weight bracket for a BX to take a picture, and you want to buy the used weights??????...... Wishful thinking... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Thanks for the pictures.... do you have any close up pictures of it mounted on the tractor? Will this mount on the tractor with the grille guard in place on the tractor? I remember getting the part number from Kubota for the weight bar for my BX22 and there was a note attached to the email that that part number was specific for the BX22, but not for any other BX models. Don't know what the difference is, do you?????? thanks..... Junk......
This is the only part number my dealer could find in his books. (BX8064) No this one won't work with the BX grill guard, it's either/or.. Don't know if it works with the 2200 series grill guard or not. Also when you have the FEL on the tractor the weights have to come off as they are in the way. No pictures of it on the tractor.
Used the weights once for tilling. Had the front tires of my BX22 foam filled and that extra weight keeps the front end in the dirt. I'm going to hang on to the weights as I'm sure I'll come up with a use for them.
Silly question (on my end) but I use the FEL for front weight while tilling, not the most compact thing in the world, but plenty heavy I would think...
Yes, but a FEL costs around $2K, whereas a set of weights costs about $300 (at least for a BX2230). Of course, you can't use the weights for anything but...well, weight. Anyone know why they're so expensive?
