Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
Here's another newbie question.

Where is the best/preferred place to jack up the rear end of my Kubota B7510 HST? On the pumpkin? On the axle housings? Don't want to break anything doing something stupid.

Checked my owner's manual, but couldn't find anything on this topic, despite Kubota including several pages on tires (filled and unfilled).

Unless I missed it, I think I've found another annoying omission in Kubota's manual.

I doubt that you'd do any harm using the axle housing, but I'd first try to find a point on the frame near the axle.

I jack up the front to make sliding the dolly with my MMM under easier. For that, I just raise the FEL a few inches and then slide a 2x6 between the jack plate and the bottom of the FEL.

I jack mine from the side using the fel support bracket. If you need both tires up at the same time then just find the safest place. I tried the trailer hitch bar but the tractor slid sideways.

I also use the drawbar bracket..not the drawbar itself. This is centralized under the tractor and, as Egon wrote, works fine.

I do strongly suggest using jackstands under the axle whenever one jacks the tractor...even if just jacking a fraction of an inch off the ground.

As far as jacking the front...I use my loader to lift the front end then place one jackstand under the frame (behind the weight bracket). Although I always hesitate relying on the tractor hydraulics when there is a potentially unsafe condition, I've found if I position the jackstand while lean over the bucket, it's as safe as I can do it. Just beware where your fingers are in case the loader drops.

Thanks everyone for your excellent suggestions. And I'm especially careful around hydraulics (my FEL, floor jacks, bottle jacks, etc). Just knowing that the 3PH on my B7510HST won't stay up overnight is enough warning to be careful.
