If you bought an early version of the recent redesigns, here are the kits to make them equal to current production:

Grip Kit (Kubota part number:K2581-9557-0) Contains all the plastic handles and lever sleeves for the levers and knobs. Seems that they go on much tighter than the old ones.

Cluster kit: This is the dash cluster for all the gauges. The first design could accumulate moisture inside, or the hour meter may not work properly
BX1850 Part number K2501-6250-2
BX2350/24 Part number K2581-6250-2

For the original fenders that had a tendency to break...
Fender Kit: Part number K2581-95522

Step stay kit: These are the new brackets that support the floorboard. This is extremely heavy-duty. This has to eliminate any floorboard flex at all. Very impressive fix.
BX2350/1850 part number K2581-9554-0
BX24 Part number K2592-9554-0

All of the above has been incorporated into current production tractors. This should put to bed the notion that Kubota hasn't reacted to the early issues, and reaffirms my decision to buy Kubota, even in the first year of a redesign.

If you have an early BX2350/1850/24, and you have any of the issues above, your dealer can/should fix them with the kits I listed.

The only thing left is the transmission. I hope my new 40 series is bug free when it arrives. (another first year thing)

Charlie, thank you very much for a very informative post. LP.

I am curious to learn more about the "step stay kit" Does anyone have a picture on this kit in place? I have noticed the floorboards do seem to flex a bit when climbing onto my tractor, but have mostly attributed it to an expanding belt line.....
Thanks for any info you can supply.

If my floorboard isn't cracked do I just need the support kit and not the new fender? Will the new support kit prevent the "Old" design from cracking, or should I insist on both fixes from my dealer? Or do I need to go jump up and down to cause the crack before my warranty is up so I can get both taken care of?

Look under the floorboard, if there is this great big 1/4" thick welded brace for the floorboard going all the way to the edge of the floorboard you have the kit already installed. I don't see how the back edge of the floorboard could flex much with this thing installed.

Timalabim, I think the dealer notification said that if a new fender is needed, it should also be installed with the step stay kit. It may be up to your dealer whether or not to give it to you without actually having the problem. It may be you need to have the issue first, but my experience has been that they unofficially extend the warranty past the 3 years for a known issue. Talk to your dealer.

... Talk to your dealer...

I contacted a Kubota dealer in NY State today and this is what he said:

"At this time, All BX24's don't have a campaign for fixing problems, They are "fix as fail" only. So if anything fails as a defect and its under warranty, Kubota should fix it as needed. Kubota determines if its a defect. Customer is responsible for transportation."

This apparently applies to Cluster kits, Fender Kits, Step stay kits, and Grip Kits.

I stopped by the dealer today and got the same response as above. Service told me to crack the fender before the warranty runs out and I'll get the new fenders and bracing.

I recently purchased a BX2350. When I talked to the dealers in my area regarding this problem and it's fix I got different answers. One acted like they never heard of the problem, one said not to worry because it was a very limited problem, third said all his units in inventory had already been updated with the "stay kits" and it was very solid. Can you guess who got my business.

Sounds like it depends on your dealer and how hard they push Kubota.
